Formax Network’s Traffic Information Research Institute has conducted various studies on traffic information systems during the past 10 years since 2014, and through tangible research results of the following R&D projects, we currently possess numerous patents and copyrights.


Although the research institute was officially opened in 2014, the start of substantive research dates back to nearly a quarter of a century when our key members set up South Korea’s first traffic information system in 2000, and since then, we have been running businesses through processing and providing diverse traffic data. Technology development is the driving force behind our business, and wide experiences and knowhows accumulated through national and self-conducting R&D projects are the foundation of our unique FX-TRAFFIC and FX-LBS services.
